Despite being a 1 woman podcast, I relish in being able to share the voices of other women, femmes, and non-binary witches and activists. Interviewing these incredible people has changed my perspective, allowed me to learn whole new ways to practice and love magic, and allowed me to do some healing of my own. I am eternally grateful to all of the incredible people who’ve been on the show for helping me feel connected to badass women all over the world, and for offering up their incredible strength and wisdom.
Gonna get a little personal here…
I was once told by a psychic that even though I will have a fortunate life and that most of my suffering was behind me, (good news!) I will always be able to feel the suffering of other oppressed people. This is why I can get heated and start frothing at the mouth over issues that don’t even affect me personally. This always seemed like kind of a curse, crying over all the bad things happening to strangers all over the place all the time and walking through life just trying to avoid causing anyone any more pain, but now I’m grateful to channel that into speaking for other people and making space for others to speak. Not only has the podcast made me feel heard, but has also helped me listen.
This International Women’s Day why not listen to one of these amazing people tell you about their life, their experience, and their feminism! (really, WHY NOT?!)
